Communication via Telegram
If we offer you the option to contact us via Telegram (Telegram Messenger), please note the following information:
1. Voluntariness and Consent
- The use of Telegram is entirely voluntary and based on your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), for example by actively initiating contact via the platform.
- You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
2. Data Transfer to Third Countries
- Telegram is a service provided by Telegram Messenger LLP, which is based outside the European Union, likely in the United Arab Emirates.
- Data processing by Telegram may occur in third countries without an adequate level of data protection as defined by the GDPR.
3. Security and Encryption
- Standard chats on Telegram are not end-to-end encrypted. This type of encryption is only used in so-called “secret chats.”
- Messages and metadata in cloud chats are stored on Telegram’s servers and may be accessible to the provider.
4. Processing of Personal Data
- When using Telegram, the following data may be processed: your phone number, IP address, device data, message and connection data.
- The legal basis for processing by us is your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- For any additional applications such as chatbots, we assess the data protection requirements separately and, if necessary, conclude a data processing agreement.
5. Your Rights
- You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection as set out in Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR.

6. Recommendation
Please do not transmit any sensitive or confidential information via Telegram. For such matters, we recommend using encrypted email communication.
